The IT and Digital Infrastructure department (formally known as Learning and Information Services (LIS)) provides central support for most of the IT systems used across the university. It comprises of staff covering a wide range of skills and disciplines with the key goal being to support all staff and learners throughout their educational journey with UHI across the partnership.

The department supports:

  • Enterprise applications and application delivery
  • IT Support for students and staff
  • IT networking and infrastructure
  • Telephony and Videoconferencing
  • IT security

09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

For contact out with our core hours, we aim to offer live support from:

17:00 to 20:00 Monday to Thursday

12:00 to 16:00 Saturday & Sunday.

When Operators are available through Live Chat, UniDesk and Email.

 

Servicedesk Festive Hours 24/25   

   

Please note that UHI Servicedesk is open from:    

09:00 – 20:00 Monday 23rd December as normal   

09:00 – 12:00 Tuesday 24th December 

   

Thereafter the Servicedesk will be closed and will return on 3rd January 2024 at 9am.
