Heather Innes was elected President of the Highlands and Islands Students’ Association in March 2022 to serve a 1-year term. Through this role Heather is a Student Governor on UHI Court. Prior to being a Sabbatical Officer, she studied a Joint Degree in Scottish History & Criminology through UHI Perth. With a particular interest and passion for how important UHI is for the Highlands & Islands and its population, Heather ensures the student voice is heard this level and throughout any decisions being made.
