Sally Brown OBE was presented for an honorary fellowship by Sheila Lodge, Dean of the faculty of arts, humanities and social sciences and received her award from Colin MacKay, chair of UHI's board of governors.

Sir Alistair MacFarlane was recognised for his contribution to UHI, having previously held the posts of Chief Executive and Rector, and received his award from Colin MacKay.
