Educational Leadership Development

The learning and teaching academy supports the building of educational leadership capacity across the university within the wider provision of professional recognition and development opportunities. Through engagement with national educational leadership developments and initiatives including those offered by Advance HE and Jisc, the LTA provides internal webinars and events to bring together those interested in educational leadership and to share and develop their professional practice. Aligning with the university’s Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy and external benchmarks including the UKPSF and the Professional Standards for Lecturers in Scotland’s Colleges, the LTA aims to contribute to sector-wide developments in educational leadership by engaging in QAA enhancement themes, collaborating with Aurora Champions and the JISC digital leader’s network.
