Introduction: using this resource

Open educational resources (OER) are freely accessible, openly licensed text, media, and other digital assets that are useful for teaching, learning, and assessing as well as for research purposes. There is no universal usage of open file formats in OER.(Wikipedia)

  • This page is a collection of open resources available on the web.
  • You can filter the resources using the free text filter options at the top of the 'title' and 'description' columns (1) and the 'keywords' column (2).
  • The resources are divided into groups based on type (3) which can be filtered using the drop down option at the top of the column.
  • At the top right of the list you have the 'clear all filters' option which will reset all filters (4)
  • You can also suggest a new resource to be added to the collection (5)

In line with the values of the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy (LTES), the Learning and Teaching Academy (LTA) is currently creating an online searchable directory of open educational resources available both inside and outside the university.

To help populate the directory we are inviting staff and students to propose open educational content for inclusion.

As part of this process you have the option of providing your contact email and telephone number. These details will only be used to contact you if there is an issue with your submission, for example, missing data. The remaining data will be used to populate the online directory.

Please indicated below whether you consent to the LTA using the data you submit for the purpose outline above.

Please read our privacy notice.
