Exploring ‘communication skills’

In a workshop session on ‘Contextualising the university’s graduate attributes’, a small group of colleagues explored how they might focus on communication skills relevant to their programme’s employment sector. Sharing ideas on what communications skills might look like in the workplace and using the suggested indicative content, they identified a number of learning activities which would support these sector- relevant skills.  The image of the mindmap captures their reflections and illustrates how a graduate attribute can look differently depending on the context or sector.
