UHI Cyber Security Awareness Notification: Yearbook Scams.

Jisc Cyber Threat Intelligence are aware of a recent increase in “Yearbook” scams. As final year students are coming to the end of their studies, a common yearbook scam is being seen again. This scam has been around for years and has been through several iterations.

Please remain alert and vigilant against these types of scams.
Currently, emails are coming into student email inboxes directing users to the domain my-yearbook[.]co[.]uk. Which would request personal details.
This site and similar scam sites are blocked from access when on UHI campuses.
