Protest and resistance studies relating to the anti-tithe campaign in rural North Wales
Supervised by Dr Iain Robertson, UHI Centre for History and Professor Carl Griffin, Visiting Professor, UHI Centre for History.
The focus of study on which I am embarking is the application of contemporary work in protest and resistance studies to empirical data gathered relating to the anti-tithe campaign conducted in rural North Wales in the latter half of the 19th century. Until doing the MLitt in History at UHI, I had no background in History and undertaking this PhD is not a career move for me! Looking forward to getting back into studying.
