Graduate Outcomes Survey
The Graduate Outcomes Survey is a national survey that asks graduates about their work, further study and experiences 15 months after completing their course. Your feedback helps current and future students understand career pathways and helps us review and improve our courses at UHI.
The results also contribute to a national picture of graduate outcomes across the UK.

The survey is run by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). It is delivered by an independent survey contractor working with HESA and UHI.
Who will contact me?

You may be contacted in the following ways:
- Email: from Graduate Outcomes, with UHI in the email address, containing a link to the online survey
- Text message: from GradOutcome, with a link to the survey
- Phone call: from IFF Research, who collect responses by phone on behalf of UHI
If you are not contactable, we may seek the information from a third party, such as a family member.

You will be contacted around 15 months after you complete your studies.

Your responses are used by UHI and other organisations for research and reporting. Before you start the survey, you’ll be told how your data will be used, who it will be shared with, and why.
How do I make sure I’m invited?

We pass your contact details to HESA so they can invite you to take part. Please make sure we have your up-to-date email address.
If your details have changed, contact us up to a week before the survey closes and we’ll pass the update on to the survey contractor.
Do I have to take part?

No. Taking part is optional.
When you’re contacted, you can opt out and you won’t be contacted again. If you want to opt out in advance, email info@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk. UHI cannot remove you from the survey directly.
