Federal Aid
We are a designated school for Canada's federal student aid, as well as the majority of the Canadian provinces' student aid programmes.
The University of the Highlands and Islands Schools code is PUAX
If you are applying from a province which does not list UHI as a designated school and still wish to apply, please contact international@uhi.ac.uk and we will aim to provide the necessary documentation for your province’s approval.

Following graduation I applied to the PhD program at the University of Victoria. Once accepted this gave me the opportunity to apply for teaching assistant and research coordinator roles. The teaching roles have come as a result of becoming a PhD candidate. I am a sessional instructor at the University of Victoria where I am also completing my PhD in History.”
