Scholarship Development: The Future is Open – Why Open Scholarship is good for you and your career
You will have heard of “Open” practices: Open Science, Open Education, Open Research. But what does it mean exactly and why should you care?
This session will present the principles on which Open Scholarship is built on and why they resonate with many. We will also look at examples of Open Scholarship in action, mainly Open Access publishing and Open Education.
We will also look at some Open tools and platforms that can help you make your own teaching and research more Open.
