UHI can offer a licence to Staff and Students who require the use of either Microsoft Project or Microsoft Visio.

Project and Visio Installation Guide

  1. Go to Microsoft 365.

  2. Sign in with your usual UHI login credentials.

  3. From the Microsoft 365 page select:

    1. Install and more

    2. Then Install Microsoft 365 apps.

    3. Under View apps & devices, select Project or Visio.

    4. Choose the language and the bit version you want

    5. Then select Install.

  4. Select Run (in Edge), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

    1. If you see a prompt that says, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? select Yes.

  5. After it's finished, select Start and then search to find Project or Visio from your list of apps.

 

If Project or Visio isn't listed under Apps & devices on the left-side of your page, it means you don't have a license. This steps to request a licence is outlined in the UniDesk guide linked above.
