Biography

Born Isle of Lewis 1967.
Educated at Glasgow University (Celtic and French)
Worked in media for several years after graduating, as a subtitler, dialogue supervisor, scriptwriter, script editor and researcher.
Started as a lecturer at Lews Castle College UHI in 1999 on the Gaelic-medium degree courses.
Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Gaelic Scotland.
