Apprentice of the Year revealed at Award ceremony

The Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards ‘Apprentice of the Year’ Award, sponsored by UHI Perth saw Eilidh Williamson from NFU Mutual Perth Agency win the coveted accolade.

The ceremony was held at Crieff Hydro Hotel on Friday 22nd November and was attended by business representatives, owners, employers and entrepreneurs from across the region.

Sarah-Jane Urquhart, UHI Perth National Training Programmes Manager explained:

“We’d like to congratulate our award recipient Eilidh, we shortlisted an inspiring and talented group of young people who all deserve to be recognised. Eilidh received the award due to her friendly and positive approach to her work. Her colleagues noted how quickly she learned the role and were impressed by her fantastic attention to detail.

“This Award category holds special significance for us, reflecting the outstanding efforts of our Business Engagement Team and academic departments in collaborating with industry partners to support more than 150 apprentices annually.”
