Wade Cormack completes funded phase of PhD studentship in style!
As part of the Royal Dornoch Golf Club’s 400 Years of Golf celebrations, Wade Cormack spoke to some 300-plus guests from around the world about his three years of PhD research in Dornoch on Friday 10 September. It turned out to be a busy evening, and his sections found a very ready and appreciative audience, all the more satisfying since it was the final, major public engagement of his funded studentship. Wade’s PhD thesis, just submitted, is on ‘Sport and Physical Education in the Northern Mainland Burghs of Scotland c. 1600-1800‘ and has been majority funded by the Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
