Displaying the Past: Museum Studies

The Institute for Northern Studies, University of Highlands and Islands has unveiled a new online exhibition

'Sailing through history: exploring our relationship to the sea'.

It is based on artefacts selected by students undertaking the Displaying the Past: Museum Studies course offered by the UHI.

The exhibition opens with a variety of artefacts ranging from the pre-historic to modern times, with each object telling its own unique story.

Lynn Campbell, the Programme Leader for BA Culture and Heritage said: “This is the second online exhibition which has been run by students on this module. The contributing students have worked hard to tell the story of the objects they have selected and present that to the public.”
