New visiting academics for Centre for Nordic Studies

Two academics have been awarded visiting titles at the Centre for Nordic Studies. Professor Neil Price has been awarded a visiting professorship and Dr Natascha Mehler has been awarded a visiting readership.

Professor Price is a distinguished professor of archaeology at the University of Uppsala, Sweden, where he directs one of the country's largest archaeological research projects.

Dr Mehler, a senior researcher at the German Maritime Museum and docent at the University of Vienna, has a strong research profile in the medieval and post-medieval archaeology of Iceland, Shetland and the Faroes.
