STEM Ambassadors

STEM Ambassadors in Scotland is based at SSERC who coordinate the STEM Ambassadors Programme. We encourage staff and students to consider volunteering as STEM Ambassadors. STEM Ambassadors are PVG/DBS checked volunteers that give up their time to bring STEM subjects to life by engaging with young people in and out of the classroom. These valuable opportunities are free to access.

Schools and colleges, and youth and community groups, can book STEM Ambassadors to engage with young people in person, or virtually, to support a wide range of activities such as careers talks, mentoring, practical workshops. Find out more about STEM Ambassadors.
