Dr Louise Drumm

Dr Louise Drumm is currently a senior lecturer in Learning, Teaching, and Professional Development in the University of Greenwich, and will shortly be joining Edinburgh Napier University. Her PhD, from Glasgow Caledonian University, was on the use of technology in teaching in higher education. She has worked in a number of universities in the UK as a learning technologist, academic developer, lecturer and software developer. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Louise is an experienced theatre director and practitioner, having working in Ireland's national theatre, the Abbey, and run her own theatre company. She is currently exploring the role improvisation can play within academic development and teaching. Her research interests are the role of theory in the use educational technology , critical digital pedagogy and open education practices. She welcomes comment and discussion on Twitter @louisedrumm.
