The theme for the LTA's annual symposium 2020 was: Enhancing assessment and feedback practices using technology. Featuring speakers from within and outside the university, the event included two workshop sessions about rubrics and quizzes within Brightspace.

Keynote speaker
Dr Sue Folley is an Academic Developer at the University of Huddersfield. Her role is to support the pedagogic development of staff in the use of digital technologies and involves both training staff and contributing to the University’s strategic developments in this area. She has worked in Higher Education for the last 18 years and has a master’s degree in Multimedia and eLearning. Her doctoral research focussed on tutors’ experiences of teaching online and other research interests include online teaching and learning, digital literacy, student dashboards and curriculum development.
