Outline
Meta Skills are being introduced to all Modern Apprenticeship frameworks over the next year or two and already exist in some recently revised frameworks. All Apprentice Progress Reviews now has a box to complete about meta skills and assessors and lecturers need to have an understanding of how to explain them to apprentices, record their progress and ultimately assess them.
A series of workshops for specific framework areas have been developed to support your knowledge and understanding and how you can support the apprentices through this process.
The workshop will:
- help you to identify competencies and associated meta skills for the frameworks.
- support you to create a set of contextualised questions and examples.
- understand how an apprentice can record their development.
- understand how to assess the evidence created by the apprentice.
Pre reading material is available on SharePoint.
