Session Outline

Would you like to spend an hour to reflect on some aspect of your work with a colleague in a  friendly, supportive environment?  The Reflective Place and Space workshop does just that, using the Reflective Co-Mentoring method developed at UHI Argyll. The workshops are open to all staff and no previous experience of reflective practice is needed.

Reflective Practice is a requirement of many professional bodies, such as the GTCS, and taking part in workshops such as this may help participants to better understand what is required. But these sessions aim, above all,  to be practical and helpful in dealing with the pressures of our working environment.

Sessions 1-3 all use the Reflective Co-Mentoring method:  you are welcome to attend one, two or all three.  Session 4 on 20th April will repeat the method with a slight variation, using the Appreciative Inquiry approach to focus on the positive aspects of our work. The final session on 2nd May will be a chance to discuss our experiences of the workshops, answer your questions and make plans for future developments.
