Following extensive engagement with Shetland’s mussel farmers, Shell-volution has developed a pipeline of 10 industry-led projects that focus on the priorities identified by the sector.
Covering areas such as spatfall monitoring, mussel losses, environmental data collection, and the use of emerging technologies including imaging and artificial intelligence, these projects are designed to deliver practical benefits for producers.
